Interactive Script

An interactive script enhancement could show synchronized text with hyperlinks to suplimental video. In this example, following a hyperlink pauses the main video.

Hotspot Video

"Hot spots" could be added to video to show areas where a click will reveal additional information.

Stage Lighting Software

Downloaded software could run in the DTV receiver hardware to provide interactive enhancements.

Camera Switching

Here, multiple cameras are broadcast as individual DTV streams. The viewer may then cut his or her own version of the program. Note that current DTV receiver hardware doesn't allow viewing multiple streams simultaneously.
